INOVASI KREATIF OLAHAN KERIPIK BERBAHAN DASAR KULIT MELINJO DI DESA CIBUBUAN

Abstract

Cibubuan Village has a large agricultural area and a lot of processed agricultural products, one of which is processed melinjo chips. Thus, a lot of melinjo skin waste is underutilized. Meanwhile, the skin has not been widely utilized, even though it has considerable potential. During the harvest season, melinjo skin is abundant on the market, so the price is very cheap. In addition, melinjo skin is not durable and easily decays. If managed properly, melinjo skin has a lot of potential and has high economic value. Seeing this potential, there is a need for creative and innovative efforts in processing melinjo skin. Processing melinjo skin into chips is a solution offered with the aim of providing added value for melinjo skin, increasing income, and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. The target audience for this activity is people who are interested in entrepreneurship. The methods used are Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The results obtained by MSME players are able to produce melinjo skin chips that are innovative and favored by consumers. The results of selling chips are able to provide additional income for residents.
